Democrats in Kentucky hold three of the top offices in the state. Judd would be a distraction and cripple efforts to defeat McConnell. My wish is that if Judd runs, she gets handily defeated my the SOS in the democratic primary. So called progressives need to stop and consider that Kentucky isn't one of the states where women are in a deadly battle for their reproductive rights, or where vaginal probe bills are passing the Legislature and getting signed by the Governor, or where the AG is carrying out a two fisted assault on minority rights, women's rights, voter rights, carrying out attacks on funding child nutrition programs. None of that is happening because democrats still have political leverage in Kentucky and are in a position to stop regressive laws. People, wake the fuck up. You have to decide whether you want progress, even when it isn't as big as what you want to see, or want to spend precious time and money and emotion fighting for basic, long settled freedoms against people (republicans) that you empowered by being politically clueless enough to not understand where your own best interests rest.
