Because even someone who thinks like she does would have enough sense not to announce it before an audience out of concern over damage to their livelihood.

I feel horrible for her.

Someone close to me is a paranoid schizophrenic. One minute he was putting out statements supporting Israel right or wrong, the next week he'd be a neoNazi. One week he'd be loving his pets and writing huge checks to animal rescue organizations, the next week he'd physically hurt an animal. His history is one of physical and sexual abuse from a very young age and extensive bullying afterwards.

I don't know Michelle's story but this disorder is nothing to laugh at. In a week, she may say the total reverse and totally mean it.

I can't say anything nasty about people who suffer from that disorder because what the hell they go through is nasty enough. I just wish them stability so they can find peace and find themselves. Get well Michelle.

then I started hearing about her mental illnesses and felt tremendously sorry for her.

She did a lot for Occupy London and this came as a small shocker to me.

If she's born-again, she's probably being exposed to a lot of bigotry and absorbing it. What she needs is treatment right now, not born-again lunacy. I hope she gets it. And I hope she has family or loved ones she trusts to help her through this.

Now she throws anti-LGBT hate around, while a few years ago, she was in same-sex relationships.

Pretty sad, actually.

If she didn't really mean it, I mean if those aren't her consistent views now, I hope the shock of what she did prompts her to get help.
