For the most he acts like a republican, every so often he throws us a bone. He won't go after the people of Wall Street, the other bankster or gangsters can not tell the difference. I could go on but it sickens me to think that I voted for change and that is all we the working people got was the change.

That Obama is a Marxist, a fascist and an anarchist. He is, of course, a Rush Limbaugh conservative; a group who apparently consider ignorance to be a positive virtue. Certainly, he does not know that those are mutually exclusive groups. (I said that it would be like calling someone a Hassidic Methodist, and it turned out that he did not know who the Hassidim are.)

He wants to believe that Obama is a socialist, and when I have quoted socialists damning Obama because he is not a socialist, he pooh-poohs this. Apparently, he sees himself as more knowledgeable about socialism than actual socialists.

I'm afraid that I did not please him when I asked if ignorance of history, economics and politics is required of conservatives or merely strongly recommended.

As Plato said, “An unexamined life is not worth living.”

Are you the "I know a man..."?

Referring to then-governor Rod Blagojevich's hair. While it did not get him elected, it was hailed as one of the best political ads Illinois had ever seen. See
