Fear: The Ultimate Weapon of Mass Destruction
Times are really bad when the the people that have been put in charge of our governance choose to run our country by the use of fear. Mostly fueled by the religious right MINORITY, but being rammed down our throats by the 'media'. We are being held as unwilling captive participants.
Like bullies on a playground their intimidation is relentless. Don't give them what they want? They threaten us with austerity. Watch out, we'll take away your job. Don't do that or we'll cut your children's ability to get a good education. Don't like our ideas? Well, screw you, we'll make the poorest and sickest among you (not us) even more vulnerable. Oh and by the way, since we haven't messed with YOU enough, let's mess with (enter name of any unstable country who's banging the drums of war here) some.
What will it take to get these soulless bible thumping hate spewing bigoted warmongering misogynists to go away? And, more importantly, are we the only one's any paying attention to this insanity? This is the longest running f*cking Kabuki theater production I've seen in my lifetime and I ain't no spring chicken.
