is irritating. On Up with Chris the dissecting of his trip to Israel and surrounding countries has the commenters speaking about what he didn't so to broker peace and that his trip was just a big smoke screen. They continue what he should have said to Palestinians versus what he should have said to Israelis. Yet, we at home are screaming about interfering in sovereign governments. He can only be an intercessor to a point, but the problems of those nations has to start with them. To call his diplomatic outreach a failure is a failure to put things in perspective. Is there a comparison to other Presidents and their outreach. Were they able to walk on water and return home pounding on their chest to satisfy the hunger of the mainstream media? Damn, just Damn!

(24,689 posts)It seems he has a much higher standard than any other President in my memory. Almost nothing productive was expected from the Idiot Bush.. and thats exactly what we got.

(4,458 posts)when listening to Any MSM: We aren't there 24/7; The POTUS is-therefore we don't know Everything that is and was stated.
Can MSM Prove the things they say he "shoulda, coulda, woulda" done--didn't happen?
MSM, I'm willing to bet-doesn't know as much as they would like us to believe and IF they are all such Experts? If their opinion is the almighty solution? Why aren't They in the Oval Office? Or SoS? Or anything But "Sharing" corporate opinions all over corporate media so that we'll believe "it" too.
I'm assuming POTUS and whichever country leader he's meeting with must be "allowed" Private "No Press" meet-ups...if that happens? That's where the rubber hits the road, so therefore, I pay little attention to MSM's "expert opinions".
Yes, I have Many complaints about this POTUS and the Senate/House and Especially the Dems...but we also have to "keep it real" and MSM's "jounalist" handlers won't allow any such thing to happen, imo.
