Despite his stint as Pentagon press sec during GHW Bush's term, he seems to be an honest broker.

That's when I first learn about him, I would run into him in the hall.

I also found out that he's gay as well, so these rulings for the last couple of days are sure to pique his personal interest as well.

U know that Pete Williams is gay. The Arc of history never stops basic human rights and civil rights. In the USA, EVER, you have no idea how many office holders are gay.

I found out that Williams was gay outside of him getting outed by Michelangelo Signorile. I won't say how I found out, but I will say that it's not hard to do that if you ever go out in public. DC is really a small town in a lot of ways, there aren't a whole lot of secrets there.

But actually, there are more people who know who's gay and who's not and prefer to keep quite about it. Some folks actually protect other people's privacy.

Now what get's printed in the papers, that's another animal altogether.

The only question is who will kill it - the Supreme Court or Congress. I'm sure many Republicans would love to see the SC do the deed, so they won't have to vote on the issue.
