Will we be on the hook to the corporations to pay for their loses of incomes? Should we decide that now before it happens? How much should Kansas pay to fix Miami?

(75,480 posts)It's one of the states paid by other states because it's fiscally dysfunctional as are many red states who are supported by federal dollars from blue states.
So your question could be, should California or New York State pay for it? I don't think they should, but they will no doubt.

(26,877 posts)Slowly rising waters can be dealt with (w/ levees etc), but, with the very strange weather patterns caused by climate change, Kansas might be in for anything from severe, dust-bowl-like droughts to much stronger, and more numerous tornados.
