Powerful!!

Found on the Obamadiary

I used to hunt pheasents and deer, but I quit hunting over 35 rears ago. Most I ever fired at one time was 3 shotgun shells and I still missed the dang bird...

Besides, I was the world's worst deer hunter...never shot at one...

I don't like hunting. Too messy. It's easier to go to the grocery store. geckosfeet Mar 2013 #2

I was in a pretty typical mostly rural community. I was fascinated with guns. They were cool and allowed you to exert so much force with so little effort.
Much of what I am today is a result of the influence of my Mom and Dad. Dad was a hunter and brought home a fair amount of small game. The last time he went hunting was the first time he brought home a deer. The process of gutting and cleaning just was too much.
For myself, I often and still think about shooting other animals but remember the feeling after shooting a stupid squirrel. I don't have the right to take the life of any other being.

But I have been shooting all my life. Probably 10k rounds max. Works out to maybe 400-500 rounds a year.
