2. Plus that weasel worded "apology" is just stupid.

They said they would go ahead and fund existed grants. Well, la-di-da. They were already going to do that! It takes some nerve to get up and announce an apology and then say they're now going to do what they were doing anyway.

And then they would "preserve eligibility" to apply for grants in the future. That's a far cry from saying they would continue the grants. African-Americans in the South had their eligibility to apply to vote preserved for decades. That didn't mean they would pass the poll test and have enough for the poll tax.

This is a triumph of weasel words. Komen's been exposed as a right-wing organization making a profitable industry out of pretending to work for a cure for breast cancer. Don't start no political controversy about helping breast cancer victims, Komen, won't be none.
