Speaker of the House set to gain (mellow) son-in-law

The lovebirds took out the license two days ago!!!

http://gossipextra.com/2013/05/03/john-boehner-daughter-marriage-license-2542/

The couple opted against undergoing pre-marital counseling, which could have saved them $30 on the $99 fee for the license and allowed them to be married on the spot. Instead, the license is only valid as of Sunday.

Lindsay Boehner and the dreadlocks-wearing Lakhan have yet to sign the paperwork to make their union cast-in-stone, but that’s supposed to happen after they’re pronounced husband and wife on May 10 near the Delray Beach home that they already share.

The lovebirds made national news last week after the 38-year-old Lakhan’s arrest record became public.

While House Speaker John Boehner has been squawking about the evils of pot, even when used for medicinal purpose, Lakhan was arrested in a traffic stop in Broward County in 2006 and charged with possession of cannabis.

Pass the duchy pon de lef' han' side, anyone? The blushing bride is the one on the right:

I can't help but notice that the wife of Boehner, in the center, has the same "orange leather" look he sports...

I'm betting old "merlot and Rothmann's" Bonehead didn't see it coming, either! MADem May 2013 #2

Who would've thought that a daughter of Boehner's would go with somebody like that?

He was probably hoping they'd just live together quietly, as they've been doing for a bit--but I guess she's not tiring of the gentleman!

Apparantly Natty Rasta has had more than one alcohol related bust, too...!

My first thought always goes to the legalities--this guy was Jamrock born; so...is he a sit-eee-zen of USA now, or is he a green card fellah?

And he's got weed and drink on his record; if he's not a citizen, he may have some trouble becoming one owing to his misbehaviors...he might need a powerful fadder-in-law to fix it for him!

As for me, I wish them every happiness and a lifelong and loving marriage! I hope they have joy, fun, seasons in the sun...and they vote for Democrats...and perhaps campaign for legalization, too... just to piss daddy off!

Oh, the irony of Boehner's daughter marrying a Rastafarian is delightfully rich.
