No burial place for Tamerlan? I've got a solution.

Most cemetaries don't want to be hassled with the potential hatred and vandalism against Tamerlan's grave.

So if they've got burial grounds, bury him at the Westboro Baptist Church.

plus I doubt that church will be there for very long after Old Man Phelps dies. That land will get sold and they will have to move his body again.

I discovered that Muslims do not normally cremate their dead.

Cremation is not acceptable for Muslims, because they believe that Allah forbids the use of fire on his creations. The human body must be respected during the time of living and through death, which makes the procedures of cremation against the Muslim beliefs and principles. Based on this belief, burial is the only form of handling the deceased. But unlike most US traditions, Muslims do not use a casket in the burying process. Instead, the body is placed directly in the grave with the body on its right side, facing Qibla.

the so-called "muslim" extremist terrorist bombers don't take that into consideration when they blow-up/burn-up other peoples' bodies... many of whom are actual muslims.

bury in unmarked (barely marked) graves..

or wait until his brother goes to prison and bury the ashes in the prison graveyard..

The traditional Muslim burial stuff is no longer applicable anyway.. and his family seems unwilling to accept the body..

It's a dead body. How we treat a dead body says nothing whatsofuckingever about the dead. It says something about us.

just reading an article about a demonstration in Leeds, by the far right thugs of the English Defense League against Muslims, where they threw pigs heads.

How about the massive anti-Marriage equality demonstrations in France?

or the Buddhist 969 campaign?

I could go on and on.

It's a mistake to think this country is exceptional in this regard. It's not- not even remotely.

But I live here and can't do much of anything to make it better. I guess I still believe that (as old school as it may be) before telling other nations about their ills, we ought to clean up our own first. How we go about it, is a very good question, but I damn sure know what we are doing now, isn't working, by a very wide margin.

I understand how you feel, but the world is a small place and people of good will need to counter bigotry and hate wherever it is found.

I've never really understood that perspective. One can be (and should be) self-critical and still respond to outside injustices.

or signing a petition at change.org or joining a local group that does international work.

In any case what I'm taking exception to here is your pious bleating about how we should just shut the fuck up about injustices anywhere but in the U.S.

but keep up the self-righteous crap if that's your thing. Have at it.

Just where the fuck did you come up with that bullshit? You really have some issues that need addressing, for damn sure. I really don't need your crap, the next response I see from you will read "You are ignoring this member." Congrats.
