Sure feels like we are re-playing the 1930s, on so many levels.

11. We had a 10 year drought that lasted from 1947-1957

So far, this drought isn't as bad as we've had sporadic rains mixed in with drought. During the 10 year drought, we got about 50% of average annual rainfall each year.

9. Flooding in Sacramento was greatly exaterated....

We saw localized flooding/standing water in the usual poorly drained areas that get flooded every time it rains. Inconvenient at best until city workers arrive to clear debris from the clogged storm drains.
