Whenever a Republican is being screwed too hard by reality, they cry out: "Benghazi!"

5. Making light of Benghazi is unseemly.

Putting our diplomats in dangerous areas, giving them a supposed "safe house", but then having no plan to get them out is not a confidence builder to anyone in the foreign service. Moreover it will embolden people who want to do harm to our people because we show how vulnerable we leave our diplomats.

This is not a laughing matter.

Might I remind you that the republicans didn't want to allocate more funding to the State Dept. for improvements in our embassies and consulates. It's a bit much that now they are complaining.

People here are laughing at the republicans near comic attempts to politicize this problem and start tearing down Hillary Clinton in advance of 2016. Their attempts are pathetic.

I saw John McCain defend Bush's false WMD while blasting Benghazi.
