Karen Finney is supposed to have the hour time-slot before Ed but apparently not yet because she wasn't on today.
p.s. Don't forget that Ed will have a new show on Sundays at the same time too.

(31,464 posts)He obviously has a contract which needs to be run out. There is reason why MSNBC usually plays prison shows in this time slot...Ed's audience will consist of about a dozen DUers. Who the f**k is watching cable news shows at 5pm on Saturday evening? Not even me.

(36,974 posts)... add a whole slate of new shows on Saturdays and Sundays all at once - say 3pm to 9pm - with more than just Ed and Finney.
Then it would be easier to remember to turn MSNBC on.
I see no reason at all that MSNBC should be showing all of those prison and caught on camera shows - all they do is make me change the channel.

(28,394 posts)I wouldn't even mind seeing reruns of Chris, Rachel and Lawrence on the weekends instead of those prison shows.
MSNBC just hired three new reporters/correspondents (whatever?). Maybe they have plans to expand some of the shows.
I just hope that Comcast isn't in charge of programming. We dropped Comcast when they dropped MSNBC from basic cable. Ironic, isn't it?

(30,540 posts)last year TV Guide had a blurb on them and said that they make lots of money for MSNBC. I was shocked but you can't go wrong under-estimating the public I guess.
