This is one of those times when we need an aggressive media...

We needed one when the Republicans were lying us into invading Iraq but it didn't happen. MSNBC was one of the biggest cheerleaders for the Republican invasion. They fired Phil Donahue because he was not sufficiently "pro-war". Now they are in danger of sliding back into the same cesspool as they cheer on the Republican attempts to lie about Benghazi and the IRS.

They are not asking the tough questions that need to be asked. I fear they are falling for the Republican propaganda and political games once again?

because war will keep people from demanding representation in Congress - which is what's happening.

The good thing is, the American people are consistent on ONE thing: they have NO stomach for more war.

But that's not going to keep the pro-MIC corporate media from beating the war drums.

Also, the fact that ALL media are giving Issa's persecution full coverage and deference while completely ignoring the 13+ attacks under GWBush during this eight abysmal years as president, should tell every thinking American where corporate-media's loyalty lies - with Republicans.

They're fighting hard to appear neutral all the while pre-empting an attack on Democrats in 2014 and a possible Hillary Clinton run in 2016.

They clearly want Republicans back in power.
