No meat to any of these "scandals" just yet.
You know you have a big scandal when the news at the top of each hour talks about it day after day. That isn't happening right now. Here is what I have been getting at the top of the hour but only sporadically:
1. IRS scandal is management related.
2. No laws were broken in AP scandal but it looks bad.
3. Benghazi - No mention because no one cares.
Right now it seems like something bigger is going to have to break, otherwise these won't get enough traction to really damage Obama other than the Republican's having 50 hearings on each thing over the next three years. That being said, I do believe the AP story is something this country should be very angry about but Republican's voted to keep the laws that make it lawful to do. It's a problem because of Republicans like Issa didn't want to protect the press. Obama's sponsored law that Issa voted against should be brought back up for another vote now that we see how dangerous the current law is.
