...what has stopped the rushpublicans from manufacturing "scandals" then lying and ignoring their own hypocrisy. They have no scrupples or goal to obstruct and make the government as dysfunctional as possible. I'm all but certain these "scandals" were ginned up...Bill Clinton style to let rumor become the narrative even when the truth eventually proves otherwise. It's who they are...power at all costs...
