Florida cops choke hold teen holding puppy over "dehumanizing stares"

This is total bullshit! I didn't know that I was required to answer all questions from law enforcement and to not walk off even though I am not under arrest.

Police in Miami say they had no choice but to forcefully restrain a 14-year-old boy who was playing on the beach with his friends because he was giving them "dehumanizing stares."

Tremaine McMillian was roughhousing with another teen in the water when he was approached by Miami-Dade Police officers and ordered to stop fighting.

...

Sensing an imminent "threat" from Tremaine's body language and "dehumanizing stares," the officers placed the teen in a chokehold.

Police ultimately booked Tremaine on a felony charge of resisting arrest with violence as well as misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct.

what the F*** is wrong with the police, the da and the judge?

florida needs to float on over to the bermuda triangle, where it clearly belongs. I guess the shape of the state affects their thinking.

So now blacks aren't even allowed to look at cops the "wrong" way.

America has no businesses lecturing other countries on human rights when blacks are constantly victims of unnecessary police brutality.

Of course racist Republicans will likely cheer these racist cops like the cheered Zimmerman.

threatened them so much, they had to take him down or maybe the puppy he was holding stared at them in a dehumanizing manner also i heard a police spokesperson trying to sell this bullshit, but it clearly complete bullshit. the judge will throw out the case, and the boy's family will sue...and win. and once again, taxpayers will for the bill for stupid policemen using terrible judgement behaving badly. rinse, lather, repeat. at least they didn't taser or shoot him
