8. There was one that responce that made me go "Huh?"

It was one where a guy showed the commercial to his wife and he said she didn't even notice till the second time around ( I am guessing that he told her to look at the people closer).

And he says "that's what being conservative is all about."

So I read his post and think to my self, "being conservative is about pointing out a really ( or should be) non-issue and getting the haters on your board motivated?"

No, I do not have respect for those on Free Republic.

I read the same one I think you misunderstood that. He was saying that his wife didn't notice until it was pointed out and meant that her not noticing was "what being conservative was all about&quot the not noticing the race issue). It's BS playing into the repuplican/conservative meme that they supposedly aren't racist and it's the liberals/democrats who are the real racists, affirmative action, reverse racism etc.

I of course don't agree with that and it's equally stupid with what he meant.
