Over the years, I think we all expect a little "maneuvering" when it comes to nominations, but this is ridiculous!

after Lautenberg's death, for the nuclear option. It looks like it might be a 50-50 tie as it stands now, with Biden breaking the tie.

It's nice to talk tough, but if the Republicans succeed in blocking them, it will be very embarrassing.

Many Republicans would not dare take it that far. Chris Christie's appointment is a likely conformation vote, otherwise he is screwed. Everyone knows Republicans in Congress are the problem, if Christie adds to that, he's toast!

Senators Toomey, Rubio, Coats, Collins, Johnson and few others will severely damage their chances at reelection if they play part in the obstructionism.
