Barack Obama was sworn in on 1/20/09. That for me is the "sell by" date for what came before.

There is a MULTITUDE of things he could have changed since then with the mere stroke of his pen. That those things might be changed back at the end of his term (should the other party regain control of the Executive Branch) MATTER NOT and shouldn't have stayed his hand. He could have taken the risk. He didn't.

I will go to my grave DISTRUSTING the US Government. I will go to my grave believing no politician or bureaucrat as my best interest at heart.

I don't give a flying fuck what ANY politician did before 1/20/09. I don't blame past acts on current politicians or bureaucrats. I blame their continuance on them though.

My government does not have my best interests as their utmost responsibility. You will not convince me they do. Simple math proves me right. None of the 537 who claim to represent us go home with less money in their bank account than they went to DC with.

It's not a Barack Obama thing... it's MUCH bigger than that.

is that people are using "Bush did it too" as some kind of defense, with absolutely no self-awareness. I mean, Bush? That's their standard for presidential behavior now?

It is much bigger than Obama, that is so true. This ship is heading towards the iceberg, and its dead ahead, as the famous movie goes. We need radical and fundamental changes, and no mistake.

There's a lot of deliberate noise and obfuscation being strewn about in a desperate attempt to avoid tne truth of what you just wrote.

Thank you.
