I guess we'll never know, because it's a secret kill list.
Sorry, stupid question. Sometimes I forget it's America in 2013.
(Yes, I agree, the Republicans are worse.)

(36,392 posts)A PUBLIC kill list would probably incite unrest among the hoi polloi. Maybe not in the BOG though.
I too agree that the Repukes are worse. My problem is that the DC Dems are trying to become MORE like them instead of less.

And think, throwing shit for the sake of throwing shit is a habit of those less evolved.
and for any jurors who have to review this post. It is a friggen callout, because this OP does not rise above shit throwing.

(9,478 posts)Jones. Manny is unhappy because he doesn't have twenty different anti-Obama articles to post today so they're just making up their own stuff. Sad.

(114,904 posts)Manny is making a point using something perceived as absurd. the point he is making is the grotesqueness of having a "secret kill list".

(62,325 posts)be bothered too much by the usual small contingency of morons present on all of them. Nothing ever changes, same tactics 'if I can't defend a position or my favorite politician, go on the attack'. I'd love to see some new tactics so it wouldn't be so yawn inducing. But, small minds are not known for their deep thinking.

(23,864 posts)So, interestingly, he actually could have been on a secret kill list for his work. I'm not saying he was, mind you. I'm saying he could have been. I guess it all depends on who's drawing up the kill list that week.
Quote in subject per this DU OP.

Do you want a link to a porn site? Because this is a masturbatory bullshit thread!

(15,064 posts)secret agent or inject African American men with syphilis or trade missiles to Iran for hostages or lie about the number of enemy killed in battle or contaminate the atmosphere with radiation or lie about WMD or torture anyone. It's not like a Four Star General lost his position or anything. Right? You need to totally trust that there is no one in the military or formerly in the military that would ever subversively do anything like that. Things like a decorated veteran blowing up a federal building full of innocent people? You got to be kidding.

(15,064 posts)with the military or rogue military elements. Revenge for McChrystal is not out of the question. Considering we live in a free country with free speech it is actually OK to ask that question. And questions are all I or anyone else have until the results of a a postmortem.
I imagine the best scenario, if there is a best, is that it was just speeding resulting in an accident. Odds say it was just an accident. But considering the victim and circumstance, there is a 'very small' chance it was not. We even have the freedom in this country to speculate about things that have very small chances of happening. Considering human nature when it comes to revenge, it is not without speculation.

(68,868 posts)get revenge via trying to kill people, they do it by trying to discredit people, bullying, whisper campaigns, etc.

(15,064 posts)someone listening and taking matters into their own hands. Maybe he was just speeding down a residential street. Hit a tree and exploded. Or maybe his accelerator got stuck 'somehow'. Accelerators getting stuck has happened before. It's ironic to have some one who is so careful in a war zone yet doesn't take care on a two way street in a metropolitan area. Whatever, I predict they will say he was driving too fast or something that is common to people exploding in wrecked cars.
I do not believe he was on a "kill list".

(794 posts)someone as plugged in as manny must have friends in high places- how hard would it be? No one really believes that criminal wealthy organizations wouldnt use innocent-seeming, random message-board-posters like manny to carry-out thier crimes. Does Manny have a character hit list supplied by Alex Jones? Did Manny use it to help America's enemies in their attacks on our national cohesion?
Given the OP, I believe this to be an appropriate response within the bounds of DU rules.

(146,341 posts)post negative stories about the Obama administration, that would be a long list, indeed, wouldn't it? That, alone, makes me think his death was an accident, caused by excessive speed while driving.
The idea that the administration is going around killing journalists who post negative stories is just too far-fetched to have any credibility, it seems to me.
