(29,414 posts)There is no logic to their "logic" on the whole thing. They simply do not care and have made it solely a political thing. It's just too bad the majority that like how they vote don't seem to know how to think.

Certainly, if it that were overturned we never would have the guts to reinstate it in the current environment.

(61,698 posts)Political gain. For some, they think it's because Jesus will love them more. They see it as a calling, no matter how destructive it is to other existing humans.
And they don't see the hypocrisy of their values: that they think they should protect future children, but not their ability to eat healthy food, drink clean water, and breathe clean air. They don't care if the fetus they saved grows up in poverty, violence, or filth that causes an early death.
