I'm sorta on the fence about Maddow's bashing of Politifact.
Yes, Politifact does mess up from time to time - but over the past few years when I catch them in a mistake I've emailed Bill Adair, Angie, Louis, and Robert over there and they normally correct the error.
I think that perhaps it would be more polite for Rachel to talk to Bill Adair *the editor) and obtain a direct phone number to him or someone else that has authority at the newspaper/website that has power to correct the error and first hash it out in private before bashing them in public.
