That we will never be able to get rid of the immense amount of money spent campaigning. What would be a good thing to do then?

How about we require all money spent campaigning to be matched by a donation to balance the budget. Dollar for dollar. Give it two heated election cycles and we'll have another surplus. Just a thought

1. Here is my take....

We have to educate more citizens to get involved in politics. And anyone who is able should dontate even a small amount, after all politicians will get their - your money....

2. Violent revolution. Wipe the species out and start over.

Build a system designed to cultivate the worst of psychopaths, teach them to be more psychopathic and more effective, and give them big quasi-governmental organizations to protect them from the consequences of their behavior...

...and then ask what would be a good thing to do then?

A balanced budget isn't GOOD for America. That's not how the Federal budget works. You're proposing abolishing the Fed and radically reshaping American economic policy.

I'd suggest a single-payer advertising industry. They shouldn't be able to buy, at any cost, people who will lie to the public for money. We should just summarily execute such people like mosquitoes. With that in place, they can spend all the money they want on advertising.

Just a thought.
