Santorum: North Dakota could be terrorist target

And the crazy continues...

http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/news/210967-santorum-north-dakota-could-be-terrorist-target

Rick Santorum warned a crowd in North Dakota that terrorists could target the state's oil industry.

"Folks, you've got energy here. They're going to bother you. They'll bother you, because you are a very key and strategic resource for this country," the former Pennsylvania senator said, according to CNN. "No one is safe. No one is safe from asymmetric threats of terrorism."

Santorum implied that Iran could be responsible for future attacks, emboldened by obtaining a nuclear weapon.

Santorum has hammered the potential threat of a nuclear Iran in recent weeks on the campaign trail, telling a crowd in Missouri earlier this month that they would not be safe from a nuclear attack.

Knowing that there are four known hate groups in North Dakota:

American Nazi Party
Aryan Nations 88
Brotherhood of the KK of the KKK
United Northern and Southern Knights of the KKK

(source: SPLC - http://www.splcenter.org/get-informed/hate-map#s=ND)

They are terrorists in my eyes, and needs to be removed.

I don't trust those damned Canadians. Just look at them up there, with all their Tim Hortons and their 'oot and aboot'...and they treat hockey like it's goddamned football, for crissakes. Plus it's a known fact that there are a vast number of bears living in Canada, which we all know are creatures of Satan.

'Those dastardly Canucks, charging the border and taking North Dakota as if it were they were entitled to it!!!'

The man is a Papist and is more inclined to becoming a dictator...and a Defender of the Faith! His faith, no other faith matters to a Papist!

But someone is going to hear his cynical fear-mongering and actually think it's true. Don't be surprised when you hear it again, because your first response is understandably going to be Where did this come from?

I don't know what the line is, but Santorum is definitely over it with these remarks. There should be a system in place to fine candidates for this kind of nincompoopery.

He lived in the Fargo area for decades. Ed, Rachel, Stewart and Colbert can fire their writers if Frothymix is in the race much longer. The jokes just write themselves.

turns to the worn out old Repuke song and dance number, Fear. The Brown People's Coming! The Brown People's Coming! They're gonna nuke Missouri! They're going to attack North Dakota! Vote for me! I'll turn the US into the safest little plutocratic theocracy this side of Heaven! Terra Terra Terra! I know a lot of people are going to fall for this old crap, but hopefully not too many.
