I caught it after 25 min's and I can tell this will have a huge impact. It pisses me off so much to listen to Tom Ridge and the sell outs, but what did my heart good was to see (still on congress at the time) Kucinich and other legislators being honest about the Gas and Oil industry - in a word, fascist.
Of course, you KNEW that... Please try to catch this, as I'm sure it'll play again. I'll see it all the way through and get pissed off all over again.

amazing how Obama will not agree to meet with families who've been impacted by fracking but he will meet with the natural gas CEOs all day long.
Plain evidence we are no longer a government of / by and for the people.

Getting a "REAL" energy plan that even bypasses natural gas, is possible, he just doesnt' consider it because of the lobbyists for natural gas.
WWF did a study that by 2050 we could be completely solar, geothermal and other 'truly natural' energy sources..
nobody cares in Government. they are all short term, next election cycle focused. no long term planning ever happens in any presidency.

The number of leaking well bores (sustained casing pressure) from the get go in Pa is 6-7% and the trajectory is that by the time wellbores are 30 years old 50% of them will leak. This is a landscape level environmental disaster to rival Times Beach/Love Canal that we are walking into...
This paper by another GLII interviewee, Ingraffea, describes the issue ---->http://www.scribd.com/doc/112348175/Gas-Well-Leaks

By 2050, we could get all the energy we need from renewable sources.
This will solve most of the problems of climate change and dwindling fossil fuel resources.
Paramount will be the substantive increase in measures to conserve energy in all sectors.
We can show that such a transition is not only possible but also cost-effective, providing energy that is affordable for all and producing it in ways that can be sustained by the global economy and the planet.
