a guilty verdict could leave the Sanford police, etc. open to law suits. jmho

the media has many, many more defense lawyers weighing in. They are like a pack who always take the side of the defense, imho.

watching it. The defense has gone so overboard they have managed to place doubt in the jurors minds. If the jury will just realize Z was STALKING Trayvon after lying to the dispatcher that alone should make the jurors take notice. Z went after him with a gun in his belt. There is no doubt in my mind Z wanted to make the police dept take notice that he would be a good candidate for the force. Z was obsessive about being on the force.

It was the govs involvement in the first place that brought this to trial. Without higher up involvement Z would have never been charged. The Sanford PD would have just swept this under the rug - nothing to look at here. The problem is with no eye witnesses the evidence is thin. The prosecution is doing the best they can but the legal bar is very high.
