Can we make George Takei an honorary DUer

Can DU even do such a thing? If so should we? My thinking is that perhaps DU could do a yearly poll to find a worthy celebrity to fill the position of Honorary DU member. The obvious intent would be in attracting that celebrity to the Big DU but it could also be a means of showering DU homage onto someone deserving it. George Takei would be my first choice but there are tons of others who easily should be so honored. Thoughts?

It would be an honorary position. A position attainable only through the will of us DUers.
What comes with that? Perhaps nothing more than a title, maybe a notification, whatever we may think up. I am still thinking it would be a yearly term.

Two air conditioners are not enough. Worse yet I'm not even home to enjoy them. Helping step kid out, her car was stolen and smashed. We just got done cleaning out her stuff. Bastard who stole it went joy riding and forgot where the break was. He left car smashed into another car. Tow company wants 200$ (She told em good luck with that) Never ever buy a Honda Accord. This is the third and last time that car will be stolen. I hope the guy whose car got hit was insured. The car was stolen down by the Metal Shop and the accident was not even a half a mile away just up from the Tacoma Dome. Some gangster kid joy riding is my guess.
