He would not reveal who that was, or his source wouldn't reveal it.

Now, in a public forum this should be revealed. In fact Insulza, head of the OAS mentioned this mysterious individual.

Use your logic, this was either a hoax or Maduro and the Bolivians mixed up the call from Ambassador Eacho about the extradition requests, and don't want to come clean.

They based these accusations on hearsay

Consider the Right Wing Spanish Ambassador who showed up. Maybe he was in on it. Regardless he didn't represent the USA and Spain apologized for his actions.

The Bolivians can't back down, they have to save face, they will be helped to do so by fellow OAS members and their resolution may or may not pass. But there is zero evidence of what he claims even after this investigation, just some grey zones.

Remember he was never stopped from refueling in Las Palmas, the first night.

If so please show me a report on that. This means if they'd gone there none of this would happen.

In the end they feared having enough fuel, so it was the size of the tank that determined decisions.

Plus, they are saying they did not block them at any time. The written note thing is he said / she said. Spain hasn't agreed that ever happened. Looks like Spain got the extradition request and probably some rumor was in the middle.

Still no mention of the supposed rumor person that Snowden was on the plane. Just confusion. That's how a hoax works.

it's not more than a confusion.

There are all these countries that got this supposed request.

ONE of them should be able to name that person who called and told them.

This can be asked at the session. Like Insulza said it's a wound and we need to clean it.

If we haven't heard it by now maybe we will tomorrow, but otherwise it was a rumor, hoax
or misunderstanding.

The USA did not say "get that guy on the plane".

They interpreted, whatever, it's on them. AND they let them pass, so it's moot.

No one wanted to read or report on the official Portuguese statement that they'd told the Bolivians to refile their flight plan 48 hours ahead of time.

So the Bolivians did not, or ignored that and tried to land there. At that point they were told to fly to Las Palmas in Spain and as far as I know that was clear.

So the problem was their fuel gage or lack of fuel in a small plane.
