Woman removed from TX Legislature Video. "This is my Government, ma'am and I Will Judge You."

For those who aren't familiar with the hearings going on at the Tex Leg, here's an excerpt of a pro-choice woman being arrested. In the beginning she is referring to the ridiculous testimony that had come into play earlier. The science (?) behind the Omni-bus bill is laughable. The Am College of OB/GTYNS testified against and there were ridiculous comments about bald eagles, wallets, & brood mares in relation to women's health.

For those with twitter, she is @VictorianPrude & hashtags are standwith women, txlege, SB1, SWTW

I can't get video to embed if someone can help. It's my computer, thanks

Of course, she is correct--the Texas Legislature DOES work for her, or at least it's supposed to work for her. Many elected officials really don't want to hear what their constituents think. They have Town Hall meetings to keep up appearances, but they don't really care for feedback.

I hope the people of Texas remember this, and vote these venereal diseases out of office ASAP!

stay up last night and see what happened, I saw a bond fund being posted online from someone at the legislature so I thought she had been arrested. I'll edit the headline until I confirm. I know the cops had her outside for a bit, probably deciding what to do. Maybe they realized 100k people or more watching the whole thing wasn't something they wanted to deal with.

She has a Twitter blog and you can read her tweets leading up to her appearance and immediately afterward.
