(68,644 posts)What a twit.
Great, yes, lets talk about how Trayvon would "take" marijuana.

(597 posts)Did for this interview.
Why did the state not spend a little time to explain her speaking problems her background or anything.
Why not use her to offer a picture into travons life. She was the only person to testify besides trayvons brother within 5 years of his age and the only one that knew him on a personal level like that.
The state set her up for failure. It's clear they did a bad job. There are professionals the state could have hired even a translator if she was more comfortable speaking.
Also the state did her no favors by ignoring her until crump tracked her down it appears. And crump interviewed her in not the best circumstance but maybe that was not his choice because of how it all played out.
But I really wish the state gave a damn to invest so effort in presenting her in a better light.

(54,770 posts)Really good talking about what kind of person Trayvon was. I would have liked a friend like her when I was that age.
Thanks Rachel.

(36,974 posts)And Piers asked him how well did he think Rachel did in the interview - something like that.
Anyway the guy said something like: ... if she had stayed and talked another five more minutes I think someone would be offering her her own show... (he really liked her)

(54,770 posts)be cool to see her on slot like the View (I think that it).
She explained a lot of things I wish people who criticized her were forced to watch. They would apologize. Well, a few might.
I hope she sticks around.

(6,665 posts)She implies that Trayvon feared for himself and/or his younger brother. This is an issue that needs to come out in the open, especially if this is indeed a huge problem in the area.
