1. The old south is being revived in the Republican Party.

In the wake of the Civil Rights Movement people used to be embarrassed by their prejudiced views. Now they are given radio shows and elected to Congress. Disgraceful.

on this issue and be more honest about race and how we deal with it.

Too many Democrats dismiss race and racism; it's like we can't come to terms with the truth especially in our own backyards.
