African American juror was excluded as juror for being an African American.
Any excuse would have done.
Gotta admit, Zimmerman sure did get a jury of his peers.

Another example of them really not knowing how to work this case.

People will get mad at me but Guy, Bernie, Angela all use the same strategies the defense used when seaking convictions. They have nothing in common with travon and are just as clueless as juror b37

Are you implying that the prosecuting attorney wanted all white people, and therefore made up an excuse to kick off an African American?

I am just saying that the jury all seem to feel exactly as Zimmerman did, that Martin had no right to be non-submissive.
That's the only reason I can think of that they found Zimmerman not guilty.
Won't pretend to know the prosecutor's strategy. IMO it was just a badly tried case. Doesn't matter what I think, really. Just stating an opinion.

I could see why the Defense might try that, but I really doubt the prosecution would have.

I'd have serious misgivings about that person, regardless of race. It's not always about race. I know some African-Americans who are die-hard Republicans and I'd strike them from a jury (assuming I represent the plaintiff; depends on the case) IN A HEARTBEAT. FOR CAUSE.

townhall.com.

I'm sure it is posted all over the rw blogs as proof of something or other. I don't blame them (or you, if it turns out that you are just trolling for liberal reaction), this has the appearance of significance, even though it's just trivia. If they (or you) think it does have some significance, I challenge them to lay it out, what is it?

First, she wasn't a juror, she was a prospective juror. Second, she wasn't "axed because she watched Fox". She was dismissed because during questioning in the hearing held to find out what the prospective jurors knew about the case, etc, the defense questioned her about her Facebook page, her 'like' of a protest photo of Trayvon and, I believe a comment she had posted on there as well but am not entirely sure my memory is clear on that. Her answers to the questions were deceptive, much as I wish they had not been and, after the defense and the prosecution going to the bench and having a discussion with the Judge, the juror was dismissed with the agreement of the prosecution, the Judge and the defense.

I wonder why CNN isn't asking why there was only ONE African American prospective juror instead of more in the jury pool. On second thought, I don't wonder after all.
