(6,279 posts)Whatever happened to "small government" conservatives? You'd think this could be between a company receptive to a union and its employees...
The fact that the idea of more employee control over their work environment, and possibly better compensation, is seen as a threat to business conditions further proves that the goal of anti-unionism is to create conditions of serfdom rather than attract jobs.

(13,873 posts)such as quality control circles run by employee groups, and they were told they would need some type of union representation to be able to do that. BMW and the Japanese companies in the southeast went ballistic, so it's still up in the air as to what will happen.
