Assange: It's Payback Time

Last edited Mon Aug 5, 2013, 04:44 PM - Edit history (1)

If you can put up with sitting through the ad at the start, this is really worth watching

on edit - fixed it with a version of the video that Americans can watch

In the build-up to Julian Assange’s run for the Australian senate, he speaks from inside the Ecuadorian Embassy in London where he is seeking refuge. The interview coincided with the conviction of Bradley Manning, the US Army private whose alleged espionage put WikiLeaks on the map. Assange speaks about political payback, his plans for freeing the most famous whistle-blower in history and why the world needs a WikiLeaks political party in Australia.

My online wireless connection is so bad that I rarely watch anything, including many short videos, on my computer so I had no idea you could not do that. Why? Is this new?

but yes, commercia tv is blocked for some other countries, apparently.
Most likely as a way to prevent "free" viewing of paid content.
