Occupier Jesse LaGreca to get his own Show. Occupier to create more jobs than John Boehner.

Jesse LaGreca, in case anyone did not see him on Utube, was the Wall Street Occupier who handed Fox News their head when they came to Zuccotti Park hoping to make OWS look bad. They picked the wrong guy when they picked Jesse.

It was one of those rare moments where you felt like standing up and cheering. And people did just that.

Fox never aired the segment, as promised, and it's easy to see why.

Jesse is also a member of Daily Kos, one of the few writers I have followed there for a number of years. His DK handle is 'MinistryofTruth'.

Jesse has been unemployed for a long time, but he can now say, he truly has found an Occupation.

I can't believe it either.

I am writing the pilot myself. I get full artistic review. No one will be telling me what I can say and what I can't. I get to tell the truth. The job of a journalist is to afflict the comfortable and to comfort the afflicted, but more than anything else the job of a journalist is to present the facts. It is not my fault if the Republican party is almost always on the wrong side of the facts. I'm not here to sell you a "fair and balanced" narrative where "both sides do it". I'm here to tell you the truth. I am a progressive. I am an Occupier. Basically: I am Fox News’ worst nightmare.

Initially, the show will start in a half an hour, once a week format, but I hope to expand to a 4-5 day a week format as soon as possible. We start shooting the pilot in 2 weeks. So I guess I have an official "job" now.

It's amazing how quickly your life can change. Less than a year ago I was down and out and at my wits end. All my life I have worked my ass off and studied, I've struggled to make ends meet even when I had a full time job, I know how hard it is out there, I have lived it myself. Someone once said that nothing easy is worth a damn. Things certainly have not been easy for me in this life, but it sure as hell has been worth it.

I cannot think of anyone I would rather have speaking for the 99%. He has been interviewed on many MSM shows since he came to their notice, and articulates the goals of the movement so beautifully and honestly. He has been on CNN, MSNBC with Keith eg, and has always been impressive. Just an ordinary guy, but with so much passion. Which was always apparent in his diaries on DK.

I did not know at first that Jesse LaGreca was MinistryOfTruth on DK, but was not really surprised when I found out.

I understand now why I lost my job months ago, and why I have failed to get a new one.

The answer is simple; I don't have an education.

You see, technically, I am a high school dropout.

I say technically because my status as a high school dropout did not last for long. After my father killed himself when I was 16 I dropped out of high school. In school, I was a low C student, though that was largely due to a lack of effort on my part and a horrendous attendance record. At that point in my life I didn't see the point in school, or for that matter, anything.

He has been a great guest on every MSM show he has appeared on and it looks like someone has 'discovered' him. He is a natural, imho. I believe he is the only Occupier, and non-professional pundit to appear on the Christiane Amanpour Show, a fact he pointed out to her on the air in his very direct way 'you won't have guys like me on the show though' or words to that effect. She had the grace to appear embarrassed and made no effort to contradict him. But to her credit, he was on her show.

6. He's going to have his own show. I am assuming, thankfully, NOT on the MSM where he would

be restricted in what he could say. Most likely on Indy TV, OWS has been building their own media also, in print and of course they've used the available Social Media which has helped them counter so successfully the expected smearing of their movement on the MSM.

I am sure he will be interviewed as he has already, by the MSM, and on Current, and RT where he has appeared regularly.

He has said over and over he will not talk to a media that is not actually, 'really fair and balanced'. So I am certain he would not accept a MSM show frankly.

8. Yes, he is a gem. I remember when he was so despairing, after he wrote the Diary linked in the OP

about his life. I wanted so badly for him to find a job. Then about a week or so later, OWS began and I guess it was a natural fit for him. But even though I had seen him on RT eg, I did not connect him to MinistryOfTruth. But it made perfect sense once he revealed who he was.

12. Yes, he was always a favorite of mine also, and I was not aware that Jesse LaGreca was the same

person in the beginning. He was always a passionate, exciting writer. He is able to argue so effectively because he really believes what he says. He's so sincere and a perfect representative of the people.

Btw, did you read his own story, which I linked to in the OP? If not, it really is worth reading. He wrote that about six months ago and to see where he was then, and what has happened in his life since them, is remarkable.

I could see him running for office some day.

I'm amazed he was not discovered long ago. But he is here at exactly the right time. Forces beyond his control made him available when he was most needed. If you haven't done so, I think you will appreciate his story which he wrote just weeks before the beginning of OWS in Sept last. Talk about someone's life changing or being changed by the course of history! It's already an amazing story and he's only just begun.

How many people does she have on the payroll, producers, sound guys, etc?

Does she have interviews scheduled on the MSM or does she have a history of notable appearances and interviews on her resume?

The New Media does provide opportunities the jaded old media does not, so even if she doesn't have her own show, technically, yet, she's getting great experience and probably has a promising future
