After being dropped by CBS's WPHT a year ago and picked up by Merlin Media's rimshot WWIQ, the four worst talk show hosts in the nation are once again homeless in the City of Brotherly Love.

It's just been announced that Merlin has sold WWIQ to Educational Media Foundation, which operates Contemporary Christian and Christian Alternative stations and is expected to move one of its formats onto the station.

1. The hate radio market is shrinking.

Many are going the Beck route, which is to scam people out of their money though web subscriptions and book sales/seminars.

3. The entire talk radio genre is taking the hit for it

The reaction to right wing hate talk radio has turned advertisers away from all political talk radio.

Political talk stations are flipping formats to sports talk.

And the few progressive radio talkers are suffering because of it.
