[div class="excerpt"Inside the Senate building, as Marshall began to answer questions from reporters, several dozen abortion rights supporters began to drown him out, chanting, "Shame, shame" repeatedly. Capital Police officers restrained two protesters, and all were quickly escorted out of the General Assembly building.Emotions were similarly intense over the ultrasound mandate.

This is starting to look like all out war on women in America. When will America say; "Enough!"
They had some snipets on the local news here in VA. Very powerful image of women screaming and crying as the shameless vagina invaders lit their celebratory cigars.
Just disgusting.

(63,708 posts)I think you meant that tempers "flare" instead of "flair." I say this as one who does this kind of thing all the time and it is a pain in the ass when I see my mistake and do a facepalm. In fact, I'll bet I do it MORE often...judging by some of the mistakes I have made...

(4,452 posts)Isn't better than 50% of the population female? Most of the women I've known in my life were were very smart and primarily very independent. I honestly don't think they'll stand for it.
