I don't think people are fulling understanding the underlying meaning behind their implications.

Sending proverbial horses heads to encrypted email services to shut down future activity and expansion isn't just heavy fistedness, it's a police state worthy of novelization.

This is the potential seriousness of our troubles. So we must tread lightly and accuse only when we are sure of wrongdoing.

This goes for both sides. Those wishing to convey the administration as infallible have much to prove and all of their work ahead of them. They have to make their case despite mounting evidence to the contrary.


I don't think we understand the forces and allusions being tossed around here. I don't think we understand the game being played.

I would not have voted for XKeyscore had it been on a ballot, any ballot, brought before THE PEOPLE of this country. We didn't get to vote and this is our country. Representatives are supposed to represent US. Democracy literally means "the voice and will of the people".

The government is utterly out of control and has deep plans to continue in this direction (NDAA section 1061 on building a new division of the surveillance state to analyze data and metadata). One may conclude there is a massive fire through having seen massive amounts of deeply dark smoke, although the actual size and shape of the fire has yet to be known...we are still going down in flames no matter the final, actual tally.
