Missing Texas teen last seen in French Quarter

New Orleans, La. - Police are asking for the public's help in finding a missing teenage girl who was visiting from Texas.

On Saturday at about 2:30 p.m., police said Hailey Kristine Cokins, 18, went missing from the corner of Bourbon Street and St. Louis Street while out with friends.

Cokins was last seen wearing a black and white zebra-striped dress with black sunglasses. Police said Cokins does not have a cell phone or any identification on her.

Cokins is from Galveston and doesn't know her way around New Orleans. Police said she may be roaming in the French Quarter.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call police at (504) 821-2222

ID. I knew that sometimes these amber alerts go across state lines, so I paid close attention and when there was an amber alert in my area I looked for that car when I was on the road. Unfortunately I am no where near LA or TX, so I am sorry to say I can't help. If they travel this way and there is an amber alert out here for her I will certainly keep a look out.
