"America is great because she is good." Alexis de Tocqueville

"If America ceases to be good, America will cease to be great."

As crazy Republicans and their allies (some Democrats) blather about returning America to greatness or the current "crisis of confidence," we must recall Tocqueville's quotes.

America has returned to greatness as our Nobel-Peace-prize winning president has led us out of the wilderness of bush's wars and his collapsed economy.

While the Republicans controlled America, we became a nation that tortures, goes to war on a foolish whim and cheats almost every man, woman and child with bank fraud schemes. Republican "pResident" bush ran like the awol coward we knew him to be when we were attacked. Then he over-compensated in response to the attacks. His government wallowed in the mud when disaster struck our nation. The failure of the GOP is notorious and they can't stand that fact!

Now, America is walking tall again as our President has vanquished the 9/11 murderers. He has worked to make it harder for Fraud street to steal from working people and he's made it harder for Fraud street insurance companies to deny Americans health coverage. America is respected all over the world as a good and great nation. He's done this while the backslider GOP has become increasingly racists and more child-like. We've watched these very well-pampered Republicans become even more angry, as if they were a baby that had been disturbed in its crib.

The shame of the Republican party will weigh them down while America flies high in the twenty-first century.
