I heard this ad on the radio and cracked up. "With LIVE music and COLD BEER" oh great rednecks trying to make it a 1/4 mile (with bulls added) and BEER ...and a tremendous waste of food.
Want to run with the bulls without the plane ticket to Spain? You're in luck! The Great Bull Run is coming to Dinwiddie on Saturday, August 24.
The Great Bull Run is coming to town with multiple chances to run with the bulls throughout the day, followed by a Tomato Royale a large tomato food fight open to the public.
"There are a lot of options for people to get off their couches and get active these days, but nothing can match the thrill and excitement of sprinting alongside 1,000-pound bulls," Bradford Scudder, founder of The Great Bull Run, said in a statement.
Ticket prices range from $50-$120 for runners, $25-$45 for Tomato Royale participants and $20 for spectators. The festival is open to all ages. Runners must be 18 years or older with a valid government identification while Tomato Royale participants must be 14 or older.
