For the ignorant FReepers, O'Malley is the statesman and McDonnell is the Ayatollah.

O'Malley accuses the GOP of taking a hard right on social issues and McDonnell says. "I don't know what he's talking about." !!!!

"social issues are not on top of my agenda"....how is that his house of delegates sets as the VERY FRST item of business, HB1, is the personhood bill and than say social issues are important to your agenda...stated he would sign it when it hit his desk. The first chance he has to respond to O'Malley and those first words are lying and back-peddling from his own agenda. If you insist on being a scumbag at least stand by your words and actions....

Both good choices. O'Malley has a little more fire in the belly and will take it to the republican strawpeople that he would face. An O'Malley-Gillibrand ticket would be near perfect.

as a first-termer. He was much more milquetoast and soft spoken during his first term.

Nevertheless, I'm still very proud of him!

Amazing!

Look at McDonnell's body language. He is clearly squirming in his chair, very uncomfortable! I love it!

Go, Marty, go!!!

I sure would like to see more of Governor O'Malley. He is eloquent and forceful when he states the actual facts. Of course, he should be doing the Sunday shows, but that would be out of the question for the networks since they only have John McCain and his merry band of repukes on. Still, I would like to see much more of him.

Stay on the offensive, most GOPers are chickenhawks who will back down when challenged.
