(27,787 posts)I think Manning's sentence is way too long, but his trial and his sentencing were conducted under an entirely different set of legal standards.
I'd suggest that Snowden's real problem now is that the journalist he worked with might not have helped him fully understand the potential legal consequences of his actions.
In the end, Greenwald will get rich thanks to Snowden. Maybe Glenn will share some of the money and help Snowden in exile.
