We put way too much energy into fighting amongst ourselves while the real evil lives on, largely unaddressed.

Including Colin Powell, Judith Miller, certainly Cheney and Bush and Rumsfeld and Bremer.

The list would go on and on and on.

Or even investigated? Let alone thrown in prison and had their clothing taken away while they're watched round the clock. Excuse me, but who was it who outed Valerie Plame and shot a friend in the face? That wasn't Chelsea Manning, was it?

backward' so I'm a bit unclear what I'm supposed to be doing. Just when I start thinking we're a 'nation of laws,' I'm told that principle only applies to PFCs, but not to Presidents and Vice Presidents.

I'm not sure what it means when your OP gets only half as many recs as a thread calling Manning a 'traitor.'

The MAJORITY of U.S. politicians are traitors to our country !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There are too many traitors to list.

We would have to go back decades to hold all those accountable.

Their traitorous policies brought us;

deregulation of our financial system
Free Trade Deals
union busting
Wall Street ponzi schemes
empire building
corporate control
invasions
occupations
coups
corrupt justice system
financial inequality
militarized police
the war against cannabis
private prisons, and on and on and on.

They govern against the best interest of we the people and the needs of our country.

They should all be rounded up and incarcerated for life without the possibility of parole.

The respect and admiration U.S. politicians are shown dumbfounds me.

I am NOT ANTI government !!!!!

I am ANTI CORRUPT government !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cheney is a sellout. He sold out the people of this country for money, plain and simple. Calling him a traitor makes us look like crazed liberals with no sense, something the right wing gleefully points out.

Cheney loves America with all his heart and soul. Where else in the world could he commit war crimes and not have to face the consequences? Cheney loves that he will never be held responsible for his crimes because we don't punish anyone who reaches a certain level of power (unless he/she is a Democrat).

I don't feel betrayed by Cheney. That man is doing exactly what we have enabled him to do. The real traitors are Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi, both professional losers paid by the elite to be the losing side to the Republicans' win. Harry Reid especially is monumentally weak, having the power to take away the Republican's greatest weapon, the filibuster, and refuses to do so again and again and again. He WANTS to lose. He is PAID to lose. He doesn't have the spine we need to fight the Republican march to fascism.

And Pelosi could have brought Bush/Cheney to justice, but refused to do so. I'm sorry, but when you see the same game played again and again and again you start to see a pattern. And the pattern is they play to lose. Even when we the people put all they power they need right into their hands, they lose and do so happily.

the game is rigged. It's not dems vs repugs, it's us vs the politicians from both parties. Yeah, sure, we have outstanding people in DC, Warren, Sanders and Grayson, but that's just a few out of many.

He fabricated evidence to push the nation into a war with Iraq. He was the architect behind the exposure of Valery Plame. Cheney is a traitor.

In the tepid water. It only seems innocuous because we have a perfect Democratic President. And I love him, don't get me wrong, but he is being used, as a facade, while what ever mischief that was, put into place by Bushco, continues to unfold.
This country was soldout. I don't know if the people will ever really get it back. Republicans are the enemy. The real terrorists. They are holding the government hostage with obstructionism, with their corporate demands.
We won't even know we have been boiled.
