The Separation, Iranian film, won oscar for Foreign Language movie.

The director gave a speech, concerning West-East relations. I'm glad the "Hollywood Elite" are doing something to ease tensions, at least on a pop-cultural level.

...as if Israel's government directly controls the film industry. However, how does this film winning against an Israeli movie fit into their paradigm?
