Catherine Zeta-Jones, Michael Douglas separate

(CNN) -- Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas are taking a break from their marriage.

A rep for Zeta-Jones confirms to CNN that the Hollywood power couple are in the middle of
"evaluating" their relationship.

"Catherine and Michael are taking some time apart to evaluate and work on their marriage,"
the rep said, declining to offer further comment.

Zeta-Jones and Douglas tied the knot in November 2000 and have stuck together through
sickness and health.

someone should make a movie about it

young-ish woman attaches/endears herself to (much) older, still-relatively-attractive , wealthy leading man...

Romance/marriage ensues.. her career skyrockets....a couple of children come along (ensuring her permanent attachment to his money)..

He ages and ages and ages..and then gets sick... says things about his illness that actually embarrass/implicate her... so she moves on..

Aging actor attaches himself to gorgeous up and coming young starlet, romance and marriage ensue, while her career continues to climb and his remains, well, stagnant. Children follow, which ties her to him so no one else could have her, because she doesn't really need his money. Then, while she's aging right along with him, he gets sick and makes an extremely personal and very public revelation about her very private medical information, so she tells him to go fuck himself and moves on.

Someone should make a movie about that.
