I watched "Water for Elephants" yesterday

It was a very good movie but I was really taken a back as to how much the Antagonist "August" reminded me of Mitt Romney.
1st of all he looked a lot like him and as far as character traits go August also:
was abusive to animals
enjoyed firing people
believed that the rules of the US only applied to suckers
said whatever he needed to say to get what he wanted
lived by his own set of rules

The resemblance was remarkable!

The character that really seemed based on a politician was Stephen King's "Percy Whetmore" in the Green Mile. If Percy Whetmore had a drinking problem, he would have been George W. Bush.
