Aug 2 legislation to suspend ops at the School of the Americas
On August 2, 2013, 40 members of Congress jointly introduced legislation in The US House of Representatives that would suspend operations at the School of the Americas..and mandate investigations into the connection between US military training and human rights abuses in Latin America.
